I recently discovered the biggest Costco secret that has paid me hundreds in just a couple months! This is the Costco SECRET that everyone needs to know!!!

SHOPPING AT COSTCO

I’ve been shopping at Costco for over 10 years and I always feel that the warehouse is constantly changing their items. At times, they even stop carrying products that are always sure to be available. Here’s a few that are currently missing from the shelves at Costco:

• applesauce cups
• bottled lemon juice
• fresh food items
• vitamins

And honestly much more. I’m not sure why… And sometimes I felt like I was missing out on deals if I didn’t go often. Actually, during the first few years, I felt like it was purely a love-hate relationship with Costco. Can you relate?

You go in for a few things and well, you always seem to walk out with more. Then you go back and something you purchased gets marked down and you cannot handle the return line. After all, you’re not there often! I’m sure we’ve all taken the loss to save our sanity until you have enough returns to make it worth your while.

Back to the missing out on deals bit, that’s where the hate part of the relationship came from. Deep down I knew I was getting a good deal but who doesn’t want to have a better deal?! And it’s even worst when you know that you COULD HAVE gotten a better deal!

That’s when I finally found out about the price adjustment policy that’ll save me from ever feeling like I missed out on a deal again.

THE BIGGEST COSTCO SECRET

Costco will honour a price adjustment for items purchased within a 30 day window. This means that if you purchase something on June 1 and notice it’s on sale on June 30 then you can absolutely ask for a price adjustment for the difference and you instantly get refunded the amount.

Sounds easy right? Well it totally is!

However, there are other caveats to be aware of when asking for price adjustments. So let me tell you how to do this the right way.

HOW TO GET A PRICE ADJUSTMENT

1. You need your Costco card to get price adjustments.
2. The item must be on sale at the time of the price adjustment.
3. Go to the specific warehouse that has the deal price to get the price adjustment.
4. You must have the item with you or the item number or name of the product handy for the associate.

To get a price adjustment, simply go to the returns counter and say “I’d like to get a price adjustment, please.” The associate will likely ask you for your membership and then which product you’re inquiring about. Then once everything is confirmed, you get refunded the way you paid. It’s that simple. Grab your return receipt and you’re off!
